Sustainability Action Committee Established

The 17 Sustainable Development Goals, adopted by the United Nations in 2015 as part of the 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda, aim to end hunger and poverty in all their forms, halt the degradation of the planet in terms of natural resources and climate change, ensure environmentally friendly economic, social and technological progress for all people, promote the creation of peaceful, just and inclusive societies, and foster cooperation among all countries, stakeholders and people in achieving these goals. The Sustainability Action Committee has commenced its activities intending to identify and monitor the university's situation in line with these Sustainable Development Goals and within the framework of national plans and programs, creating and achieving new goals, and establishing measurements and metrics related to the goals.
